Yoshie I. Niven, 98, of Henrietta, NY, passed away on October 9, 2025.
Yoshie was born on October 17, 1926. She passed away 8 days before her 99th birthday. She was originally from Japan. When she met her husband, she moved here to start her life. She loved going to the senior center, bingo, casino, and out to eat. She was one of the first sushi chefs in the Rochester area.
Yoshie was predeceased by her husband John, son Kenneth, daughter Nancy, stepson Terrance, and longtime companion Richard. She is survived by her son Daniel Niven, daughter Susan Bethmann (Eric), granddaughter Cathryn LaLonde (Joe), Ginger, and great-grandchildren Dana Schiano, John Schiano (Morgan), and Jake LaLonde
