William “Bill” James Talbot, 65 (November 4, 1960 - March 3, 2026)
Of Greece, NY passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 3rd. Bill is predeceased by his parents James and Margaret Talbot, brother-in-law Clifford Roy and first wife Darla Talbot (Sexton). Bill is survived by his wife Cathy Talbot (Sarvey); daughter Toni (James) Reed; step-sons Corey (Harry) Green, Kevin (Breanna) Dickes; step-daughter Karla Arnold; grandchildren Aleycia Perez, Zachariah Reed, Jacob Reed, Mekih Arnold-Parson, Raelyn Thomas, Izzy LaMark, and Roux Dickes; siblings Deborah Roy, Virginia (Joe) Sofia and James (MaryKay) Talbot; sister-in-law Kathy (James) Blake of Coraopolis, PA; and aunt Irene Smedley (John Fess) as well as cousins, many nieces and nephews and the great ones too!
Bill was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend! He loved his family more than anything and loved spending time with everyone at his camp. Bill’s camp was a labor of love, pouring so much of himself to create the beautiful, welcoming gathering place it became. Nights by his hand-laid firepit created by Darla and Tyler, a crackling fire after a huge family gathering of food, games and laughs, was Bill’s happiest place. He liked to be busy; he would work on remodel projects around his home or help anyone who needed him. Always there to lend a hand for family or friends, of which Bill had many close, life-long friends. Known by all who knew him as a “great guy”. A die-hard Miami Dolphins fan (in Bills County! and a proud Deadhead, which he enjoyed the Grateful Dead live many times but not as many times as Frank! He will be greatly missed by all who’ve known and loved him.
A special thank you to Bill's older sister, Debbie, for the gift of life back in 1992 when she donated her kidney.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the National Kidney Foundation.
The family would like to invite you to share your love and memories of Bill on Thursday, March 12th , 2026, from 4pm to 7pm at: Liberty Lodge, 850 Maple Drive, Webster NY, 14580.
