Viola Wilma Schlageter

Viola Wilma Schlageter, 96, passed away on February 6, 2025, in Rochester, NY.

Born on November 16, 1928, Viola pursued her education at the Rochester Business Institute. She was a loving and devoted mother who always put others before herself. Known for her caring nature, selflessness, and sense of humor, she brought warmth and joy to those around her.

Viola cherished time spent with her family, especially during their many outings together. She had a special fondness for the Seneca Park Zoo, where she created lasting memories with loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Schlageter) Stadalius and son Mark Schlageter; son-in-law Robert Stadalius; granddaughter Lauren (Stadalius) Thrasher; grandson Adam Stadalius; and great-grandson Logan Thrasher. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Schlageter.

Viola’s kindness and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
