Thomas F. Keryk of Shelby, NY entered into eternal rest at his home on May 17, 2026. He was under Hospice care at his home after battling complicated health issues. 

Born May 2, 1945 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of John S. and Winifred (Cooper) Keryk. 

He graduated from Lockport High School before continuing his education at UCLA Berkeley. He then transferred to the University of New Mexico and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology. He worked as a technician for many years at Mennen Medical in Clarence, NY, where he met his future wife, Susanne Jane Pagels. They married in 1980 and had 4 children. He enjoyed amateur photography and was an amateur Ham radio enthusiast. He also enjoyed tinkering with many different kinds of electronics and gadgets. 

He was predeceased by his father, mother, and his brother, John R. Turkey Keryk. 

He is survived by his loving and extremely patient wife, Susanne; his children Kevin (Elizabeth) Keryk, Kristen (Barry Howell) Keryk, Karen (Gentry) Carman, and Keenan (Valerie) Keryk; a sister-in-law, Sandra Emmendorfer Keryk; grandchildren Milo and Jasper; and many cousins scattered across the country.

 A memorial will be held May 30, 2026 at 11am at East Shelby Community Bible Church, 5278 East Shelby Road, Medina, NY 14103. Friends and family members are welcome to meet with the family before and after the memorial. Memorial contributions may be made to East Shelby Community Bible Church, or donations in his name may be made to Orleans County Hospice.
