Sadie Mae Bott went home peacefully to the Lord, surrounded by loved ones, on November 23, 2025. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years Frank Bott, parents Carrie and Freeman Morton, her brother David Shepard, sisters Irene Bright, Thelma Denevic, Eunice Lima and Molly Cantrell. She is survived by her sisters Laura Cannon, Rebecca Carter, Betty Salter, children Linda (Glenn) Garman, Gail (Andre) Valence, Carol (Garfield) Kyte, and David (Brenda) Bott. Additionally, she is survived by grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Sheena (Shawn) Jerzak, Kaley Garman, Matthew (Jacelyn) Valence, Benjamin (Chrystal) Valence, Jessica (Patrick) Carroll, Brian and Stephen Kyte, nine great-grandchildren, and another on the way, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Sadie was beloved by her family, and never met a stranger. She was a strong Christian who took comfort in her faith. She was the first to offer help in any situation and was always the peacemaker. She unconditionally loved all of her family and many friends. In fact, her last words to all of us were,” I love you more.” She was a loving mother and nana extraordinaire. She loved to play cards with her children, grandchildren and great-grand children. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing Wii Bowling and was a bingo champ. If visiting, you might as well go over while hungry as you could never leave without being asked if she could make you something. She will be greatly missed, but leaves a legacy of love.
