Rose Gay, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 72, in Spencerport, New York. She was born on January 8, 1953, and received joy and fulfillment throughout her life, nurturing both her family and her passions.

Rose was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Brizzi Sr., her mother, Rose C. Orlando, and her cherished son, Jason Cooper. She is survived by her loving children, Sean Cooper and Heather Cooper, whose lives she enriched with her unwavering support and affection. As a proud grandmother, Rose found immense joy in her grandchildren: Brandon Burton (Toni), Amber Cooper (Jonathan), Angelina Cooper, Breanna Drake (Korbyn) (Brandon), and Mikayla Tiller. Rose's passions were as vibrant as she was. She took great pride in her plants and gardening, and her dedication to nurturing her green thumb was a testament to her nurturing spirit.
