Roberta “Bobbie” Aprilano-Parina

Roberta “Bobbie” Aprilano-Parina, born on June 19, 1963, in The Bronx, New York, passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 63.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Parina, and her father, Robert Scattergood. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Johnson; her son, Steven Aprilano (Maggie), and their children, Anne, Steven Jr., and Grace, who brought her great joy as a grandmother. Bobbie is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Lauri Davis, who was like a sister to her. She is lovingly remembered by Lauri’s husband, Mike Davis; their daughters, Juliett Markajani (Mike) and Shauna; and Juliett’s daughter, Paityn.

Bobbie graduated from Olympia High School in 1981, attended cosmetology school, and worked for many years as a hairstylist before discovering her passion for floral design. She spent over a decade with Fabulous Flowers, where her creativity and warmth touched many lives.

She loved gardening, floral design, and animals. Over the past 30 years, she opened her heart and home to four rescue dogs, each becoming a cherished member of her family. Above all, Bobbie’s greatest joy was being a mother, and more recently, a grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, alongside the time she spent caring for Paityn. Her love, humor, creativity, and generous heart will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Paw Rescue in honor of Bobbie’s lifelong love of animals.
