Rochester, NY - April 30,2026 at the age of 75 passed peacefully from cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Dorothy Tocco, from East Brunswick, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynn Stankowitz Tocco, daughter Jessie (Aaron) Corgan and son Joshua. Also his siblings Bruce, Barbara and William, all of NJ. He was heart broken to leave behind four grandchildren who bought joy to his life. He was blessed with many special friends and we thank them for their support during a very hard last month of illness. His favorite times were spent sitting on the porch listening to music and talking with family and friends or hot days on the porch with a comic in one hand and a martini in the other.
Bob touched the lives of hundreds thru his 40 year career of being a drug and alcohol counselor and then a marriage and family therapist.
Special thanks for their concerns and prayers to the guys at First Print Comics. During his three and a half year illness Bob looked forward to Wednesday comic book pick up day. The Marvel Universe is full of controversy that he loved to discuss with “the kindest group of guys”. You were all special to Bob.
Special thanks also to the staff at Aurora Comfort Care where he spent the last two days of his life. The kindness, skill and care they showed him and our family all never be forgotten. Donations can be made in his memory to Aurora House, 2495 S. Union St, Spencerport, NY. 14559.
A memorial service will be private.
