Robert Jay Drake

Robert Jay Drake, age 65, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, while in hospice care at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

Robert was predeceased by his father, Richard Drake, and brother, Warren Moore. He is survived by his mother, Winnie (George) Wong. He leaves behind his siblings, Jeff (Colleen) Drake, Val (Ed) Petraitis, Doug (Laural) Drake, Dorothy (Karen Hagberg) Drake, Clarence James Moore, and Michelle (Michele Bowers) Moore. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Robert will be remembered most for his immense generosity and his innate ability to make everyone around him feel deeply loved and special. He was the consummate theme party host, finding true joy in meticulously decorating and giving thoughtful gifts for every single holiday.

Celebration of Life Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the home of Val and Ed Petraitis on Saturday, October 10 at 1:00 PM (7452 Carney Hollow Rd, Springwater, NY 14560).

Memorial Donations, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Robert Jay Drake to two organizations close to his heart.
