Raymond J. Lesio passed peacefully on June 25, 2026 at the age of 88.
Ray was predeceased by his siblings, Ralph, Don, Ed, Bill, Amelia Lesio and by his son, Edward Stock.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, John Kilmer; his children Dana (David) Kincaid,Loni Todisco, Christopher Stock, and their mother, Sharon Lesio; grandchildren, Nikolas Stock, John Stock, Mariah Stock, Shane Stock, Anthony Todisco, Jonathan Lipary, Macie Kincaid, Evan Kincaid; several beloved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and special sister-in-law Ellie Lesio.
Ray served his county in the US Army. Following his service, he built a successful career doing what he loved – cooking. A talented chef and restauranteur, Ray was well known throughout the Rochester area. In the 80s he owned Good Time Charleys and later owned and operated Raymond’s Valley Inn in Honeoye, NY, where he welcomed generations of guests with his amazing food, friendship and good nature.
Ray lived a life marked by resilience, humor and a love for his family and friends. He leaves behind memories that will continue to bring a smile or a chuckle to anyone who was fortunate to have known him. He loved his special dog, Max and of course, hitting a winning trifecta.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ray’s remarkable life on Wednesday, July 15th from 6p-8p at The Valley Inn in Honeoye, NY.
