Patrick Thomas Lahey passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Through all of life's hardships, Patrick remained strong-willed, loving, humorous, and deeply devoted to the people he cared about most.
Patrick was predeceased by his parents, Vincent James Lahey Sr. and Frances Lahey (nee DiBenedetto); his brothers, Dominick Anthony Milia Sr., Anthony Lynn Johnston, Vincent James Lahey Jr., and Michael Edward Lahey; his sister, Lisa Marie Hall (nee Lahey); his sister-in-law, Sharon McLean; Timothy Gartley; and his beloved nephews, Dominic Anthony Milia Jr., James David Howard, and Andrew Matthew Howard. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Vincent McLean.
He is survived by the love of his life, Marybeth Bell, who brought him peace, comfort, unconditional love, and a home filled with warmth and safety. Patrick cherished the life they built together and adored the special bond he shared with her grandsons, Abel and Hunter. Whether joking around, sharing stories, or giving advice from his own life experiences, Patrick loved spending time with the boys and all of the children in his life.
Patrick leaves behind his beloved children, Tiffany Pangburn, Nicholas Calaci, Brittanni Lahey, and Robert Wilkinson, whom he loved deeply and was incredibly proud of throughout his life.
He was a proud grandfather to Angel, Jeramiah, Nevaeh, Cora Luna, and Connor.
Patrick also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with countless friends whom he considered family. He treasured lifelong friendships with Tricia Morris, Giorgio & Paula Saccetti, James Lapiana and their families which he loved as his own.
Anyone who knew Patrick knew his love for football and his lifelong loyalty to the Washington Redskins. Sundays were always better when the game was on - especially when the Cowboys were playing, as he loved the playful rivalry and banter with Marybeth.
Patrick was stubborn in the best ways, endlessly funny, quick with a joke, and always willing to help someone he loved. He wanted those around him to learn from his mistakes and strive for a better life. His strength, resilience, humor, and caring heart touched many Jives.
During his final days, Patrick was surrounded by the unwavering love and support of Marybeth, Tiffany, Nicholas, Joe, Tricia, Jowanna, Dawn, Janet, Robin, and Chris, whose presence brought him comfort and peace.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. His memory and spirit will live on eternally in the hearts of his family and friends.
