Michelle N Lane

Michelle N. Lane (Shorty) 37, of Geneseo, NY passed away peacefully at her home on December 12, 2025. Michelle was born July 1, 1988 in Charlottesville, Virginia and resided in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia until moving to New York early in her childhood.

Michelle is predeceased by her older sister, Tia Panipinto. She is survived by her parents, Brenda and Alexander Lane, her sisters, Angela Allen, Charday Lane, her twin sister Megan Lane, her brother William McDonald and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michelle grew up in Lakeville, New York and attended Livonia High School, where she graduated in 2006. She worked various jobs over the course of her life; mainly in retail. Michelle enjoyed spending time with her family and her boyfriend of 5 years, Robert Spears, along with their cat, Burn’em. She loved to read and paint and spent the majority of her time outdoors doing her favorite hobby; fishing. Michelle was very caring, she loved helping people and she loved making people laugh.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 10, 2025 from 1 to 4 PM.
