Marlene Carpino

Marlene Carpino, 78, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025.

Marlene was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Carmella Carpino, and her brothers Andrew Carpino and Richard Carpino. Marlene is survived by her loving sister-in-law, Judy Carpino; aunts Francine (Don) Condello and Carmella Steves; as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, and life-long friends who will miss her deeply

She dedicated many years of her life to her career with the City of Rochester, from which she proudly retired. Known for her compassion and generosity, she had a special love for animals and supported causes that protected and cared for them. Her gentle spirit, warmth, kindness and caring nature touched everyone who knew her.

A graveside service will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Wednesday September 24th at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marlene’s memory to the Humane Society of Rochester, honoring her lifelong love of animals.
