Marilyn T. (Lyn) Golumbeck

Marilyn (Lyn) T. Golumbeck, 75, of Geneva, New York passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026.

Lyn was born in Hammond, Indiana on October 2, 1950 to Frances and Anthony Frunk. She graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School. Lyn held numerous professional roles including as an Accounts Payable Clerk for Nalco Chemical and as a Marketer for American Greetings.

Lyn’s true passion was motherhood. A selfless and compassionate mother and friend she always went above and beyond norms to bring care, kindness, gifts, and joy to others. Lyn routinely dressed up for holiday events and sent care packages to her friends and family. While raising four sons of her own, she was mother to seventeen foster children.

An active member of the Geneva Women’s Club and Geneva Seniors, she also volunteered regularly at the Linden Exchange and enjoyed playing Euchre, Pinochle and Gin Rummy.

Lyn is survived by her husband, Ron, four sons (Brian (Mitzi), Stephen (Kristin), Tony (Jessica) and Kevin (Kerry), five grandchildren: Katelyn, Jacob, Hannah, Evelyn and August, and brother, Dennis Frunk. She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence (Larry) Frunk.

A Celebration of Life event will be held in Geneva, NY on Saturday, April 18th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sons of Italy Banquet Hall, 31 Prospect Ave. Guests are invited to wear Lyn inspired hats! If planning to attend, you are also encouraged, not required, to leave a message by Thursday at 315-789-4374 including the number of persons attending so we can properly plan for food and refreshments.
