In Loving Memory of Linda Lea (Sutherland) Clark

January 18, 1953 – August 31, 2026

Linda Lea Clark, 73, of Silver Springs, New York, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, surrounded by the family she spent her entire life nurturing. She leaves behind a legacy of boundless love, tireless hard work, and a sense of humor that could light up the darkest room.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ralph and Dorothy Sutherland; her brother, Kevin Sutherland; and her husband, George Clark.

Linda lived a life of faith, family, service, and unconditional love. She worked at Hewlett-Packard and Kodak and she devoted personal time to Soldiers’ Angels, proudly supporting those who served our country—something especially close to her heart as the proud mother of her two sons, brother, and nephew who each served in the military.

She was the deeply loved anchor we all leaned on. Linda is survived by her cherished children, Martin Baker (Rosemary) and Matthew Bowers (Amanda); her brothers, David Sutherland (Elaine) and Doug Sutherland (Sharon); her grandchildren, who were the absolute light of her life, Charity Baker, Tatianna Riggi (Chris), Brice Baker (Katie), Autumn Baker (Matt), Nicholas Davis, and Alec Bowers; and her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Vivianna, Sophia, Klara, and baby on the way. Through them is where she recieved the name of PITA GMA, GGMA and Aunt Softie. She is also survived by her wonderful nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, lifelong friends Don and Diana Straugh, and countless others blessed to have known and loved her.

Her life was a beautiful reflection of the words, “well done, good and faithful servant.” She was selfless and loved fiercly, and she made us all laugh. Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort knowing that Linda is no longer suffering and has been welcomed home to Heaven.

A celebration of Linda’s life will take place at Perry Vets Club, 64 Lake Street Perry, NY 14530 on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. In honor of her memory, the family requests contributions be made to Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home Inc., 167 N Main St Perry, NY 14530.
