Larry Glore, 65, passed away on February 19, 2026 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY after an illness. Born January 31, 1961, in Napoleon, Ohio, he was a graduate of Napoleon High School, Owens Community College in Perrysburg, OH, and Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY, where he obtained associate degrees in Business Administration and Audio/Visual Technology.
Larry made Rochester his home for more than four decades, where he worked for various Rochester companies as a graphic artist and desktop publisher. He had a creative eye and took pride in his work, combining his artistic talent with a passion for visual storytelling.
Larry was known for his warm personality, ever-present smile, and infectious laugh. He loved bringing people together and found great joy in sharing good food, wine, and conversation with friends and family. His generous spirit and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Lawrence and Betty Glore, and his longtime partner, Scott Deane. He is survived by sisters, Suzi Yahney (Gordon) and Sherry Hogan (Clark); nieces and nephews Brent and Brooke Yahney, Lauren Severson (Mike), and Curt Hogan; grandniece Emma Severson and Connie-Rose Deane, daughter of his late partner Scott, who held a special place in Larry’s life;
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 26, 2026, from 1:30–4:30 p.m. at Crossroads Church Fellowship Hall (north entrance), 601 Bonaparte Drive, Napoleon, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Napoleon Area Schools Art and Band Departments.
