Kathleen A. Bullis, at the age of 91, passed away on April 10, 2026.

Kathi was born to William Andree and Kathleen Kernahan in Chicago, Illinois. She is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, W. Murray Bullis. She is survived by her brother, Herb Tandree (Ann); sons Keith (Barb) and Bruce (Carol Harvey) and daughter Claire Zimmer (Guy). She has three grandchildren: Kelsey Golubkov (Andrew), Katelynn and Logan.

She was very much into dogs and the dog community. Her dogs that she had throughout the years were Licorice, Pippi, Mikey, Kannika, Sunbeam, Joy and her last, Ellie who is now with family. She was very involved in the NorCal Poodle Rescue for many years.

Living in CA for over 40 years she volunteered at Allied Arts, the Costume bank in Los Altos, and the Stanford Hospital Ronald McDonald House. She loved to make things and had a small business (Prairie Crafts) making candles, quilts, needle point, and crochet items such as hats and hot pads. She loved to sew costumes and clothing especially for her kids and grandchildren.

They were members of the Unitarian church for over 50 years in the numerous places they lived. Murray traveled a lot for business and Kathi was able to travel with him to Hawaii, Europe, Russia, and China among others.

Kathi and Murray moved to Rochester 10 years ago and developed friends through the Highlands of Pittsford. Kathi got involved a little with the Genesee Valley Kennel Club and the Lollypop Farm.
