ROCHESTER, NY – Judith R. Brown, a daughter of the late Howard and Miriam Rasmussen, died December 15, 2019. She was 75.
She attended St. John’s School, Brown University, Middlebury College, Utica College, and held a Master’s Degree from Syracuse University. She taught high school social studies in Camden NY.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome M. Brown; five children: Erik (Deborah Bordelon) Moore, WA; Alec Moore, VA; Christopher Brown (Angela Dierks), ME; Amy Brown (Alicia Godsberg) Brooklyn NY; Hillary (James Jr.) Steiner, Henrietta; 10 grandchildren: Cassie and Nicole Bordelon, WA; Taylor Moore, Webster; Mackenzie Moore, Canandaigua; Zachary (Chelsey) Moore, N. Chili; Finn and Theo Dierks-Brown, ME; Phoebe and Xander Tisdale and Gwenevere Steiner, Henrietta; and her sister, The Rev Leslie (The Rev TJ) Bland of Greensboro NC.
