Joseph John DeMasio

Joseph John Demasio ‘Joey D’ born August 31, 1948 passed away peacefully on August 19th 2026 at Hildebrandt Hospice Care at the age of 77.

Joey D was best known for his fun and giving nature who loved to be the life of the party.

He was born and lived most of his life in Rochester, NY but left home after graduating Eastridge High School to attend college in Cleveland Ohio. He also served 6 years in the National Guard.

He married his high school sweetheart, Judy Remmely, who passed away 20 years ago in the summer of 2006. Joe is survived by his children Jill (Chris) Demayo, Eric (Tina) Demasio and Jessica Demasio (Scott Purdie). Grandchildren Nick & Norah Demayo, Lily Demasio.

Several in laws, cousins and many loving friends at his second home, O’loughlins, will deeply miss him.

Family and friends are welcome to a celebration of life held at Silk O’loughlins bar/restaurant on August 29th from 12:00-3:00pm.
