John "Jack" Yardman

John "Jack" T Yardman 86, of Batavia NY, passed away on 6/12/26. Born 11/22/39 in Olean, NY, to John N Yardman and Evelyn M Becker.

He is survived by his children, Lori Yardman of Portville NY, Tammy (Mark) Dedman of Batavia NY, Scott Pasnik of Medina NY and daughter-in-law Ruth Yardman of Olean NY. Also survived by his sisters Janet Faulkner of Portville NY, Beverly Haskins of Mt. Morris NY, Barbara (Robert) Boldt-Phair of Arcade NY, Mary Ann Drake of Shinglehouse PA and Micki Van Houten of Irvine CA. Grandchildren, Madison (Matt) Dedman-Grover of Bossier City LA, David Yardman of Olean, NY, Brianna Pasnik of Medina NY and Ryan Pasnik of Medina along with great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, John and Evelyn, his son, Ronald Yardman, his brother, Leonard Yardman and brother-in-laws, Dan Boldt, Bob Haskins and Glenn Drake.

Jack was a proud member of Bricklayers Local #3, International Bricklayers, and spent many years working for Thomas Johnson, Inc. He was an avid golfer—often saying he took up the game too late in life. He also enjoyed Syracuse basketball, cherished the companionship of his beloved dog Abby, and treasured time spent with his family, especially his son‑in‑law Mark and granddaughter Madison.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Jack will be laid to rest in Saint Bonaventure Cemetery in Olean, NY.
