Fairport NY: Age 87, died March 27, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, surrounded by his family. John was born 12/11/28 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late John P Danielson & Margaret (Nesbitt) Danielson. John was a 1947 graduate of Jamestown High School. He attended West Point and graduated from Syracuse University. John enlisted in the US Army, serving twice in S Korea, and once in France as well as stateside. He later retired from Travelers Insurance.
John is survived by his children, Nancy (Alfred Senft) Danielson of Perry, NY; Cynthia Chislett of Fairport, NY; Jeffrey Danielson of Fairport, NY, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his sister, Mary D. (Robert) Greenwood of N Syracuse, two nieces and several cousins. Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his son, John P Danielson II in 2004.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown, NY.
