James Wollek

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James F Wollek of Phelps NY. He was a loved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and nephew.

When we asked if he wanted to take ride he’d be the first one in the vehicle and he’d always ask if we could go to WALMART, his favorite store! He enjoyed watching traffic and always yelled WALMART when he’d see a Walmart truck go by . He never missed watching wrestling. He loved his football team New York Giants. When he’d go to his daughters house Tammy Wollek he enjoyed watching nascar and rooting for the # 3 car. He loved spending time with his family when they’d have a get together when his sister in law would come from Texas to visit. He was loved by his kids Jimmy (Bridget) Wollek - red creek Tammy Wollek (Ray Pickering) - conquest Michael (Mikki) Wollek -Phelps. James grew up in Wolcott, New York. Was born in Rochester, New York on may 26, 1944. He was the son of Evelyn and John Wollek. He is now at peace with his parents, brothers Johnny, Don, Louie and sister Anna May Richard Judy.He has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. James will be remembered for his sense of humor, jokes, stories and always laughing. There will be a celebration of life at 1177 State Route 14 Lyons, NY 14489 at 12 noon on May 17. He lived with his son Mike and daughter in law Mikki the past 2 years and enjoyed the family cat Zues (he loved his fur babies ) he’s now with his cat “baby”.
