It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Holly Jan Weston, age 68, of Seneca Falls, New York, who passed away on October 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.
Holly was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who brought laughter, warmth, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Holly worked at Harris Corporation for about 47 years, where she retired after a long and dedicated career.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and a deep love for music, especially playing the piano and singing. Holly loved to sing and certainly believed she had a beautiful voice, whether everyone else agreed or not! Her humor, unforgettable personality, and ability to make others laugh were just a few of the qualities that made her so special.
Above all else, Holly loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys, and she cherished the time and memories they shared together. Her love, strength, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Holly is survived by her loving daughter, Erika Bessell; her son, Robert Weston; her two beloved grandsons, Dante Diaz and Stephen Bean; her sisters, Lynn, Leslie, and Marlene; her brother, Robert; and her loving boyfriend, Dan Smith.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Shirley De John, affectionately known as “Grandma Mickey,” and Ulysses Grant,
with whom she is now reunited in eternal peace.
In accordance with Holly’s personal wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life. Her family asks that those who knew and loved her honor her memory by remembering the laughter, love, and special moments they shared with her.
Although Holly’s time with us has come to an end, the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created will live on forever.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten. Rest peacefully, Holly.
