Rochester, NY – Georgina passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025 at age 88. Georgina is predeceased by her parents George and Lillian Thurston, sisters Barbara Kincaid and Deanna Murphy. She is survived by her children Terry Tobias, Kim (Steve) Juravich, Lawrence Tobias and Debra Tobias-Buskey, granddaughter Brittany Juravich, several nieces and nephews, loving friends.

Georgina graduated from Spencerport High School and started working for Kodak before starting a family. She was an avid gardener and had a special talent for growing roses. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint and often gave gifts of handmade clothing to mothers of newborns. Georgina loved music and could be seen dancing around the house. A lover of animals she enjoyed many pets as well as watching birds, squirrels and chipmunks and visiting the zoo where she had “adopted” polar bears.

As per her wishes there will be no formal services, but the family will plan a Celebration of Life at a future date. Special thanks to Latta Road Nursing Home East for their love, compassion and support in their care for Georgina and her family.
