A Loving and Devoted Mother

On May 15 2025 in Dansville NY, at age 86. Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother Felicita (Aya ,Fela) pass away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.

Felicita (Aya, Fela) was born on May 26 1938 in Juncos Puerto Rico and spent her life in United States where she raised her children with love and compassion. She was known for her positive qualities., warm smile, gentle nature, unwavering support and the biggest heart she had.

Felicita (Aya, Fela) was the heart of our home and family. She is survived by her loving husband, Florencio,.She raised six children, Ana , Sandra, Loudes, Daisy, Mildred and Elena, in a happy and loving home to be independent and thoughtful adults. As a grandmother to 17 grandchildren, and 26 great- grandchildren she was the "funny and lovely grandma we ever had. Felicita (Aya, Fela) survived by her sisters Yolanda, Witin and Nieces/nephews

Felicita(Aya, Fela) was known for her hearty laugh and kind heart. she would stay up paying cross words and watching Family feud. She was the heart and soul of our family, she will be dearly missed. At Felicita's request, there will be no services, but before she passed she made it known she wanted us all to share a laugh in celebration of her journey home.

Your Hug Meant the World

Nobody else held me so tight

No one's eyes shined so bright with love
