Fabian Bernard Grabski, a beloved resident of Henrietta, NY, passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on May 2, 1940, Fabian lived a life filled with service, dedication, and love for his family and community.
Fabian joins his predeceased loved ones, including his parents, Bernard and Ann Grabski; his brother, Dennis Grabski; brother-in-law, Casimer (Casey) Kliszak; and niece, Renee Grabski.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Joan Grabski (nee Kliszak), and their two sons, Fabian (Ricci) and Benjamin (Mary) Grabski. Fabian leaves behind a legacy of love through his grandchildren: Danielle, Benjamin, Nicholas, and Connor Grabski. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Edward (Sandy) Grabski; sisters-in-law, Carol Kliszak and Christine Heimerl; and brother-in-law, Patrick Heimerl. Additionally, Fabian is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will carry his memory forward.
A respected member of the community, Fabian was known for his passion for shooting and was a long-standing member of the Rochester Rifle Club, the Mendon Conservation League, and the Town of Henrietta Conservation Board. His commitment to excellence was evident in both his personal and professional life. After graduating from Depew High School in 1957, he pursued further education at Erie County Technical College. For over 30 years, he dedicated himself to his role as a land surveyor at Eastman Kodak, contributing significantly to the industry.
In service to his country, Fabian proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1959 to 1965 in Buffalo, NY, exemplifying his commitment to duty and honor.
The family will be holding a memorial service to honor Fabian's remarkable life at a future date, inviting all who knew him to celebrate the impact he made on their lives. Fabian Bernard Grabski will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
