Douglas F. Osgood

Douglas F. Osgood, 61, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025.

Doug was predeceased by his father, Lloyd. He is survived by his mother, Elaine (Crane); siblings, Dianne (Joe) Meli, David, Deborah, Dennis (Vicki); many nieces and nephews; and his good friend, Dale.

Doug was passionate about the outdoors, enjoying activities like camping, fishing, and hunting. His love for nature extended to his work, as he spent many years doing commercial roofing and later worked in landscaping for Rocz Enterprises. Every summer, you could find him at the flea market in Avon on Sundays. Doug was also an enthusiastic Buffalo Bills fan and a dedicated supporter of the New York Yankees.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Strong Memorial Hospital, especially in the NMICU unit, for their support and comfort during Doug’s illness.

A celebration of Doug's life will be held at Gravel Ponds Campground on June 28th. Details will be provided upon request to the family.
