Dora C. Mullens

Dora C. Mullens passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 86, surrounded by her family. Dora was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Santina Gavens, her husband Charles Mullens, her brother Gene Gavens, her sister Sandra Maras, her son-in-law David Sidorenko and her great-grandson, Brent Adams.

Dora is survived by her five children, Chuck (Nancy) Mullens, Jim (Kim Mooney) Mullens, Gary (Lisa Rocklein) Mullens, Scott (Kelly Smith) Mullens and Wendy (David) Sidorenko; her grandchildren, Kelly (Jacob) Roberts, Marla (BJ) Allen, Ryan (Jessica) Mullens, Alex Mullens (Sara Glasser), Zachary Sidorenko, Brittany Sidorenko, Liam Mullens, Shawnna, Shawn and TJ Rocklein, Curtis and Tom Mooney; 7 great-grandchildren; many extended family members and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dora was a life-long resident of Rochester, NY. She graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School and worked at Eastman Kodak for many years. She enjoyed cooking, watching game shows, movies, or the Buffalo Bills, and connecting with friends on the phone and her computer. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and pets, tending to her plants and always hoping for that big win on her scratch-off tickets.

Dora was always a listening ear for her family and friends and readily shared her thoughts and opinions. Along with a million other things, we will miss her unbelievable wit, her sense of humor, her intelligence, advice, and especially her warm heart.
