Donald Pilger

Hamlin -Donald Pilger (Pops) passed away Thursday April 2, 2026 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his father, Walter Pilger; and his mother Mary Pilger; and siblings Walter; Robert; Mary; Harold; and Charles; and beloved wife Patricia Pilger; and son-in-law Stephen Baechle.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Baechle; his son, Donald (Judi) Pilger; his granddaughters Rebecca Baechle, Holli (Tom) Orr; Alyssa (Nick) Fokine; his great-grandchildren, Harleigh Baechle, Jayson Orr, Noelle Orr; and his great-great grandchildren Aubree Baechle; and Brantley Wilkerson; and many nieces and nephews.

Donald was a sports fan of the Cleveland Browns for over 70 years, and enjoyed watching and going to Nascar races. He was an avid golfer and hunter. He was a man of great faith. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. His presence would light up any room he walked into. He was loved by anyone who was lucky enough to know him.

Family and friends are invited to his celebration of life on Saturday, May 2nd at 2PM at the FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 35 State St. in  Brockport.

Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
