Dolores Rose Caramante

Dolores Caramante, of Rochester, passed away at the age of 95 on March 5, 2026 with her son by her side.

Born on April 7, 1930, Dolores loved growing up in her large Italian family surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Jerry; mother, Olympia Bonadonna; and brother, Gerald (Ida) Bonadanna.

Dolores was a sharp dresser who always took pride in her appearance. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, trips to the casino, playing cards, eating seafood, and Bingo. Dolores was always moving, always feisty, and fiercely independent. It is only in this last year of illness that she was forced to learn patience and she taught us all something about the grace of acceptance.

Dolores will be forever loved and missed by her son, David (Tatiana) Calabria, her brother Daniel (Lyn) Vitale, and her many nieces and nephews.
