Bonnie Mae Richiusa

Bonnie Mae Richiusa, 82, of Rochester, NY, passed away on May 25th, 2026. Following a courageous and gracefully fought battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and resilience. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Born on July 12th, 1943, in Rochester, NY, to George and Sophie Atwood, Bonnie was a graduate of Charlotte High School, Class of 1961. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John M. Richiusa, in 2018.

She is survived by her children, Tracy (Alfred) Hoffarth and John K. Richiusa. Bonnie loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly; she leaves behind six grandchildren, Bill (Beth) Abdo, Lindsey (Brendan) Dawson, Amy (Matthew) Handley, Jaime (Justin) Scheg, Sophie (Adam) Johnson, and Johnny E. Richiusa, as well as three great-grandchildren, Damon, Olive, and Joshua Dawson.

In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will be held in honor of Bonnie. Interment will also be private.
