BERNARD P. LYNCH

May 7, 1951 – May 6, 2026

We are saddened to announce the passing of Bernie Lynch, a well-loved and a hard-working gentle soul devoted to his family and friends. He passed away on May 6, a day before his 75th birthday.

Bernie bravely managed Type 1 diabetes for forty-eight years. He spent his career in warehouse management. He also served his country as a medic in the United States Army.

Bernie enjoyed every type of sport. His teams were the Browns and Bills, the Yankees and the Rochester Red Wings, the Sabres and Amerks, and the Syracuse Orange. He enjoyed music, outdoor gardening and his John Deere tractor. He enjoyed watching

Jeopardy; he’d pause the TV to allow arguments to the responses!

He will be missed by his wife of 45 years, Jane, son and daughter-in-law, Ryan & Libby and daughter, Keegan.

He is survived by his siblings Patricia Lynch-Grover and Joe and Bev Lynch. Also survived by his Gorski in-laws, Steve and Virgina, Dan and Nancy, Rick and Debbie, and Chris. He was predeceased by his sister Mary and brother-in-law Gary Grover.

A Celebration of Bernie’s life will be held on June 14, 2026 at Sycamore Golf Club.
