October 2, 1956 - December 4, 2025

We celebrate the beautiful life of our dear sister, Barb, who passed away unexpectedly on December 4th, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on October 2, 1956, Barb was a lifelong resident of Geneseo, NY, graduating high school in 1975. She loved to work and took pride in serving others, including many years at SUNY Geneseo. Barb was fascinated by trains, and had an absolute passion for lighthouses! She brought joy, laughter, and warmth into all of our lives. Her dedication and love for God was evident in everything she did, loyally helping friends and befriending others, always sharing the love of Jesus wherever she went. No-one was a stranger to Barb. She was always positive and knew how to lift our spirits with her amazing smile. Barb is survived by her sister Sandy, brother Bruce, a number of dear nieces and nephews, and other extended family. 

A joyful celebration of her life will be held at Celebrate! Church in Leicester, NY on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, if it’s in your heart, please consider making a donation in honor of Barb to Open Door Mission, Foodlink, or your local food pantry.
