Ann Cottone

On April 9, 2026, Ann passed away at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her father, John Cottone; her mother, Betty Swanger; her brother, Vincent Cottone; and her nephews, Vincent Cottone Jr. and John Cottone.

She is survived by her loving sister, best friend, and constant companion, Josie Cottone; her son, Robert Tyma Jr. (Paula); her daughter, Debbie (Greg) McDonald; as well as nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, three nieces, and many other loving family members and friends.

Ann had a career as an administrative assistant and dedicated over 40 years as a compassionate companion to Gilbert Thompson. She had a deep love for animals and spent much of her time feeding and caring for stray cats.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Ann’s Community for their care and support during her time there.
